How do I change my own name, email or appearance?
Your personal profile — name, email address, notification preferences, dark mode and time format.
Your personal settings are split across three pages in your account, so each one answers a single question. Every dashboard user has all three, and the choices are yours alone — they don't change anything for your team.
Account → Your details — who you are and how we reach you:
- Profile — edit your First name and Last name, then click Save changes in the bar that appears at the bottom. To change your sign-in email, click Change email: we send a verification link to the new address, and your current email stays active until you click that link. Your phone number can't be edited here — contact support to change it.
- Notification preferences — switch the optional emails on or off: Marketing emails and Product updates. Security alerts, billing notifications and policy-change emails are always sent — they're marked Always sent.
- In-app notifications — your personal overrides for dashboard alerts: which types appear as a bell entry, pop-up or sound, your personal sound on/off and volume with test buttons, and a mute for this device only. Anything you leave untouched follows the restaurant's default.
Account → Preferences — how the dashboard looks to you:
- Appearance — choose Light, Dark or System for the dashboard theme. It applies instantly and follows you across your devices.
- Time format — 12-hour, 24-hour or System (which follows your restaurant's default). Also saved to your account.
Account → Your data — what we hold on you:
- Privacy and data — export everything ResoFlow holds on you, or close your account.
Name and notification-preference edits share one Save changes / Discard bar; theme and time format apply immediately without saving. Password, two-factor authentication and active sessions live on Account → Sign-in and security.
