How do I sign up and set up my restaurant?
The sign-up wizard step by step — account, email verification, your details, venue, plan choice, the venue-essentials screens (hours, tables, booking basics) and the setup checklist.
You sign up through a short wizard, then a setup checklist gets your venue ready to take bookings. ResoFlow is UK-only for now — you'll confirm your business operates in the United Kingdom during sign-up.
- Create your account. Use Continue with Google (one tap — a Google account is already verified, so you skip the email-check step), or enter an email address and a password (at least 8 characters, with letters and numbers — a strength bar under the box tells you when it's good) and click Create account. Either way, tick the one box above the Google button first — it agrees to the Terms, Privacy Policy and DPA and confirms your business operates in the UK; the product-updates box under it is optional.
- Check your inbox. We send a verification link and a 6-digit code — click the link, or type the code on the sign-up screen and press Verify (handy when the email is open on another device). The email comes from security@resoflow.co.uk, so check spam if it hasn't arrived; you can also click Didn't get it? Resend, and if you mistyped your address, Change email address re-points your account and sends a fresh email — no starting over.
- You & your venue. One screen: your First name, Last name and an optional Mobile number (these stay private — customers never see them), then your Business name, What kind of business are you?, your Address, and optionally a venue phone, email and website. As you type the business name, the wizard shows your venue's web address (like resoflow.co.uk/venue/the-bistro) — the hub page every venue gets, which your booking, gift card and menu links hang off. Check it looks right before you press Continue, because that's the moment the address is locked in — you can't change it yourself afterwards, so check it looks right first. If the address is already in use by another venue, click Customise link to choose the link yourself (lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens), or tweak the name.
- Choose what you need. Take the full venue package (the restaurant plan ladder), start with standalone products only — Gift Cards, Loyalty, Tickets and/or Order & Pay, with no booking side — or combine the two. The options you're offered depend on the business type you gave: the full venue package is for restaurants and cafés today; other business types start with the products.
- Pick a plan. All four plans are shown — Free (free), Plus (£39/month), Pro (£79/month) and Complete (£129/month) — with a Monthly / Annual switch (annual saves 2 months). Any standalone products you chose are itemised in the same summary and paid in the same go. Click Start free for Free (the button reads Continue to payment when you've added paid products alongside it), or Continue with [plan] for a paid plan and pay in the secure Complete your subscription pop-up (payment is handled by Stripe — your card details never touch our servers). You can change your plan and products any time later.
- Your venue's essentials. Venue sign-ups then walk three quick screens so you can take bookings from day one — When are you open? (tick the days and times; there's a Copy Friday to the weekend shortcut), Roughly, what tables do you have? (rough counts by size are enough — the suggested counts fit your plan's table allowance, and you can name every table and draw your floor plan later), and Booking basics (Largest party bookable online, How long does a booking last? and How far ahead can guests book? — every choice offered fits your plan; on plans that include them you also set the Cancellation deadline, how late customers can cancel or change their booking online, and whether to Confirm bookings automatically). Sensible defaults are already filled in. Every screen has a Skip for now link; anything skipped waits on your Go-live checklist. Product-only sign-ups skip these screens entirely.
- Welcome to ResoFlow. Click Let's get you started to open your dashboard.
If you leave part-way through, just sign back in — the wizard resumes at the step you left.
After the wizard: going live
The dashboard opens straight onto a working Home — nothing is blocked — and a quick five-stop tour is offered on the way in (Take a quick look around first). Getting live happens from ONE place: the Go live checklist, reachable from the sidebar (the entry counts what's left, for example Go live (4 left), and disappears once everything is settled). Your essentials sit at the top (venue info, opening hours, tables and policies for a restaurant; product venues get their own short list) — if you completed them during sign-up they arrive already ticked, and anything you skipped waits here as one big screen each, with "Leave this as it is" always an answer on every question that has one. Anything optional can be waved off with Not for us (reversible with Add it back). Going live is a deliberate button: your public booking page stays hidden until you press Go live; pressing it publishes the page, fires the celebration and gives you your link to share. Everything else arrives as short optional packs — Money, Messages, Get more bookings, Fine-tune bookings, Your team, Included in your plan, and a pack for each product you own — plus a nudge to click through Settings to see everything you can switch on and tune. The checklist is also reachable from Help and support → Reopen setup wizard (shown while setup is incomplete). Prefer being talked through it? The Set up with Rezo toggle turns the same questions into a chat where you answer by tapping buttons. You can replay the tour later with Replay the tour.
