How do I build my floor plan and add tables?

Use the Floor plan Builder to add tables and decorations, arrange your layout, and manage multiple floor plans.

You build your layout in the Floor plan Builder: go to Settings → Venue → Tables and layout and click Open editor in the Floor plans editor card. (The same editor opens from the Floor plan page's Edit layout button — editing needs the floor-plan edit permission.)

Add tables

Deleting a table never loses a booking: if upcoming bookings sit on it, ResoFlow tells you how many and asks before deleting; those bookings move to Unassigned and show in the Unassigned row on the timeline (and the Unassigned tab of the list), ready for you to re-seat.

Your plan caps how many tables you can have: 8 on Free, 30 on Plus, 100 on Pro, 250 on Complete. At the cap, the shape buttons grey out with an upgrade message.

Got a drawing, a printout or a screenshot of your floor plan already? Click Import from a picture (next to Manage floor plans) and ResoFlow reads the tables into a new plan for you to check — see How do I import my floor plan from a picture?. It uses 4 AI credits a picture.

Add decorations

Switch to the Decorations tab for Divider, Solid Wall, Staircase, Door, Bar Area and Kitchen Area. Decorations don't take bookings and don't count towards your table cap.

Manage floor plans (rooms, terraces, upstairs…)

Individual tables have their own switches too: click a table on the canvas and use Allow in Walk-Ins, Allow in Waitlist and Allow in Online bookings in its panel. Unticking Allow in Online bookings keeps that one table out of automatic online seating — the booking page won't offer or assign it — while your team can still seat it from the dashboard. While its whole room is switched off for online bookings, the table's Allow in Online bookings shows off and can't be changed there.

Saving

Click the green Save changes button — everything saves in one go. If your save would remove 10 or more tables, a warning lists them first and asks you to confirm with Remove and save. Closing with unsaved changes offers Save changes, Discard & Exit or Return to Editor.

Tables with a rule or pairing

If you have set up table rules or pairings (Settings → Bookings → Tables and seating → Table rules and pairings), a Reserved for strip under the plan lists every table in that room a rule sends bookings to, or that belongs to a pairing. It is read-only here — edit the rules on the settings page. See How do I make sure certain bookings always get a certain table?.
